A rare original Copenhagen bowl in the Blue Flowers pattern, (still in production today). This pattern was introduced in 1779 and the mark to the base was used during the period that Anton Karl Luplau of Furstenberg was the master modeller at the factory - 1776 to 1795. Hand painted blue underglaze decoration on a true porcelain bowl. There is an unglazed portion to the rim where it was stacked in the kiln. In unusually good condition for an item which is about 230 years old with one or two imperfections in the glaze from manufacture but no chips, cracks or repairs. The bowl's diameter is approximately 5.5 inches or 14 cms and it stands approximately 3 inches, 7.5cms high.
