A 5 1/2 inch 14cm tall cake stand dating to around 1840. Transfer printed hand finished and gilded chinoiserie design of a square flower pot with chrysanthemums and other flowers and leaves. No makers mark to the base. Staffordshire earthenware material. No chips, cracks or restoration. Some wear to the gilding. Very fine crazing to the glaze all over. The plates diameter is 10 inches 25.5cms. Weighs 850g.
