A beautifully engineered brass military pocket sextant by F Darton & Co of London. Stamped 1900 and serial number 221. Also stamped with the British Army procurement arrow. Unfortunately, the viewfinder glass has had a solder repair, (see photos), and its key is missing. One strap on the fitted leather case has snapped, otherwise it all appears to work well.
