A superbly engineered solid brass cased, black anodised finished military pocket sextant by H Hughes & Son Ltd. Stamped 1914 and serial number 719. In full working order. The case is scratched and rubbed, but it survived the Great War, (unlike its original fitted leather case as this was replaced in 1918 with a Weightman Brothers one). Approximately 7cms in diameter.
