A Limoges tea for two set on a porcelain tray. Dates to about 1920 to 1925 and from the Gerin-Pougat-Elite factory. Pattern number 2089, decorated with a pretty peach flower and green leaf design. Comprises a 16 x 13 inch tray, a three/four cup teapot, two cups and saucers and a milk jug. Also supplied is the lid for the unfortunately missing covered sugar basin. Each piece has a divided handle and is highlighted in gilt. Wear to the gilding, but other than a missing portion of the stay on the teapot's cover and a fleabite rough patch to the rim of one cup near to its handle, no chips, cracks or other damage. No crazing to the glaze. Weighs a hefty 2.1Kgs.
