Striking Vase. Staffordshire Potteries c1920. Black with transfer print band. Gilt floral design. Resembles Passion flowers. Different colours of deep pink, blue and green. Gilt line to top and bottom of band and also gilt line around the base and rim. Due to age there is a tiny amount of 'pin prick' effect which occurred during firing. In good condition with no chips or cracks. A really lovely item. Measures approx: 8 1/2 inches (22cm) in height. Base diameter is 3 inches (8cm), rim diameter is 2 1/2 inches (6cm). Weight, unpackaged, is approx 700g.
