A super little pickpick or pecking bird dating to around 1930 and in full working order. Unknown manufacturer - probably German. Covered in felt, with glass eyes and painted metal feet. Supplied with its original key. Once wound, the act of placing it on its feet starts the action. In an enjoyed condition - this has clearly been played with but most of the felt is still in place. The photographs give a true indication of its condition. About 3 1/2 inches 9cms in length and weighs 30g.
