Very stylish Carlton Ware Rouge Royale long leaf dish finished with gilt. Dates around c1950, and in good condition with no chips or cracks. Minor wear to the gilding in places but mainly to the rim. Attractive deep red in colour. Clearly marked to the base with the appropriate mark for the period. Measures 13 3/4 inches (35 cm) in length, and measures 4 1/2 inches (11 1/2 cm) in width. Weighs unpackaged 250 grammes.
