Collector plate. Manufactured by Coalport. Silver Jubilee Plate 1952 - 1977. Number 16 out of a limited edition of just 5000. White china with printed design on the front. Royal Crest, Laurel wreaths with bunches of thistles and heather, and finished to the rim with gilt. This plate has been framed in a gilt frame and glass front. The background is a deep blue colour. (Just visible in the picture.) Framed by Picturecraft a specialist framer in Leeds. The plate itself, measures approx: 10 1/2 inches (27cm) in diameter. The frame measures approx: 15 1/2 inches square (39cm). Weight of the plate and frame is approx: 2,280g. Can be sold without the frame.
