Made in England. In gilt, on the underside, is printed 'County Borough of Derby, 12th May 1937. Councillor Elizabeth Petty, J.P. Mayor.' Made to commemorate the Coronation of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth. May 1937. Royal crest and pictures of the King & Queen form the decoration. In good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approx: 3 1/2 inches (9cm) in height and 2 2/3 inches (7cm) in diameter. Weight, unpackaged, is 190g.
