Davenport pottery plate, beautifully decorated with a little girl sitting amongst a field of flowers, mouse, ladybird, bees, butterfly included. Signed by the artist, and titled All Things Bright and Beautiful. From an original work of art by Linda Worrall. This plate is the first issue in The Poetry Society of Londons Treasury of Classic Childrens verse. Plate is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, and numbered 6216B (schedule of 75 firing days only). Bradex number is 26-D8-2.1 and dates 1986. No certificate. Plate measures 8 1/2 inches (21 cm) in diameter, and weighs unpackaged 400 grammes.
