Very attractive, and unusual, Goss crested ware tall necked vase, with coat of arms to the front for Callander, just into the Highlands in Scotland. Reads Benledi saw the cross on fire. Clearly marked to the base with the Goss mark, and gilded to a scalloped rim. Initially thought this to be a perfect piece, however, there is a very faint hairline to the base. This is not very noticable, and the piece can very easily be displayed and enjoyed. Measures 4 1/2 inches (11 1/2 cm) in height, and weighs unpackaged 50 grammes.
