A super pair of signed prints by Geo H Downing RBA, (George H Downing, member of the Royal Society of British Artists). One is of Derwentwater, the other of Ullswater, lakes in Cumbria or the Lake District in the north of England. Clear signatures to the prints themselves as well as on the mounts. Framed in simple black frames. Glazed. In excellent condition although the brown paper to the back of the frames is beginning to come away in places. Each frame measures about 12 1/2" x 10 1/2", 32 x 26.5cms and the pair weighs 1100g.
