Pretty 4 piece porcelain set - ideal for a dressing table or similar. Pattern of maroon flowers is unknown, and the porcelain is also unknown as the pieces are unmarked to the base. The two round dishes measure approximately 4.75 inches in diameter, and 1 inch in height. The oval dish measures approximately 5.75 inches by 4.75 inches and 1.25 inches in height. The oval dish with handles measures approximately 6 inches by 3.75 inches and stands approximately 1.25 inches in height. All pieces are previously owned, but are in good condition - apart from the oval dish. The oval dish, although free from any chips or cracks, does have marks to the underside. This will have happened when the gilding was applied. Gilding turns a maroony colour once fired - and is not visible to the painter prior to placing in the kiln.
